ABOUT LAUREN

Lauren Russell is a distinguished fashion stylist, editor and entrepreneur renowned for her effortless take on dressing.

She was raised by parents who showed her the world at an early age-from bustling international cities to life on a western ranch- inspiring her whimsical style sense. Fashion has always been Lauren’s strongest form of expression. While fashion was fun for her, she also wanted to save the world-working at the White House for environmental causes…but the suite-life cramped her style. Lauren moved west to Aspen as the mountains were calling.

Lauren refocused on fashion, opening the first J. Crew black label boutique, J. Crew at-the mountain in collaboration with CEO, Mickey Drexler and Creative Director, Jenna Lyons. She went on to open KERUT, a luxury fashion boutique in La Jolla, California to immediate international acclaim including Elle’s “Top Shop” for their September fashion issue. Lauren became know for her unique eye for the best global designs as well as her instinctive styling of clients for daily life and events. After the birth of her son, Lauren moved back to Aspen, repositioning KERUT as KERUT Consulting, an Aspen-based business servicing corporate and private clients in the fashion & luxury sectors. Aspen Fashionista is the styling arm of her consulting business.
